“I'm the most indigo flame of passion who expresses herself through visual storytelling. My surrealistic imagination is how I view my creativity and see my world; as dreamy, impulsive, and raw. I amplify the beauties of womanhood, the truths of human nature, and the celebration of being Latina in a world that has tried to tear us down, but will never succeed.”

My name is Tiffany Galicia, I am a 23 year old, first generation Guatemalan-Latina born and raised in Queens, New York. I’m a surrealist/conceptualist photographer and multidisciplinary artist. Additionally, I’m a recent graduate of two degrees at QCC and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

As an artist, I have always been a storyteller with the talent of communicating the inner mind. Through many variations of visual art, I love to express the strength in being vulnerable and unmasking our humanly truths.

Topics I focus on are empowering my Latinx community and representing our culture, women empowerment, healing traumas, dreams with nightmares, and embodying the definition of love. I believe in the beauty of embracing uncomfortable conversations and allowing that to persevere us in positive, healthy manners. Although change is never an easy subject to confront, in order to metamorphosize we must work through challenges. I love developing a safe space in this growth and through my artwork. I always want to win the hearts of my audiences, where they can confide in me and trust that I express my concepts are for provoking thought, emotions, and self acknowledgement.

From photographing my friends around Queens and developing concepts with Dollar Tree items in my room, I was able to transform my self made career into something of my wildest dreams. At 19, my insane motivation formed the spiral of my everlasting growth. With my soulful passion and bursting ambition I developed the career of my dreams. I proudly hold large publications in various platforms such as Vogue Magazine, Ok Magazine, and E News. I've had the opportunities to work with iconic companies such as Warner Records, Jagermiester, and Poppi. Additionally, I have enjoyed collaborating with national stars such as Maude Latour, Chantel Jeffries, and J Solomon. From 19 to current time I've been featured in many different art exhibitions including at FIT, Depop, Mi Casa Gallery, AM:PM Gallery and long term residency at the House of Saturn. In April 2023 I had my first solo exhibit, “23 & Every Part of Me.”

I feel the most gratitude understanding that my accomplishments took strength and patience to achieve; as my self made journey has been anything but linear. However, the process is exactly what makes the artist, and I forever feel grateful for this one.

I have been shooting since I was 15 years old, and I can confidently say it's the biggest passion I hold in my heart. Aside from Photography, my other beloved art mediums that I actively create with are Painting, Writing, Designing, Music and Videography.
